British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

BACP is the leading professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK with more than 61,000 members. We work to promote the role and relevance of the counselling professions in improving psychological wellbeing and mental health and to develop safe, ethical and competent practice.

Association Christian Counsellors

ACC is a professional body set up to facilitate quality counselling, psychotherapy, pastoral care and related training. It is passionate about maintaining and raising standards of excellence for these public services. It acts as a Christian voice for its members in relation to Government, educators and other organisations in related fields in the UK. ACC UK is also strongly linked to other ACCs throughout Europe and the USA.

Association of Colleges

Association of Colleges is the national voice for further education, sixth form, tertiary and specialist colleges in England. We are a not-for-profit membership organisation established in 1996 by colleges, for colleges. Our members make up almost 95% of the sector - transforming 2.2 million lives each year.

National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society

The National Counselling Society is a professional association for counsellors and psychotherapists. The Society plays a significant role in all aspects of counselling and psychotherapy and supports members, trainers, organisations and the public. As an Accredited Register holder they meet the robust and exacting standards set by the Professional Standards Authority with particular emphasis on public safety and assuring that the best interests of the clients are protected.

Association for Counselling and Therapy Online

ACTO promotes, maintains and improves online counselling and psychotherapy as a recognised method of therapeutic delivery within the mental health professions. We have various levels of membership and endorse a number of training providers to deliver a robust and recognised programme of online therapy courses.  Our vibrant community of online influencers and change-makers enables us to shape and uphold the competencies for online practice that have been adopted by professional bodies across the mental health and counselling profession. We keep our finger on the pulse to help today’s online practitioner to grow as digital technology continues to evolve. 

United Learning

United Learning is a group of schools which aims to provide excellent education to children and young people across the country.
